License Overview

When you purchase or download effects from BiBiFx, you receive a license to use the content according to the terms outlined below. This license defines what you can and cannot do with the purchased effects.

What You Can Do

  • Use in personal and commercial projects
  • Modify and customize effects
  • Use in client work and productions
  • Create derivative works

What You Cannot Do

  • Resell or redistribute effects
  • Share login credentials
  • Claim ownership of original effects
  • Use in competing marketplaces

Standard License

All effects purchased on BiBiFx come with our Standard License, which includes:

Commercial Use Rights

  • Use in commercial video productions, advertisements, and marketing materials
  • Include in client projects and charge for your services
  • Use in broadcast television, streaming content, and online videos
  • Incorporate into products for sale (with restrictions, see below)

Modification Rights

  • Customize colors, timing, and parameters to fit your project
  • Combine multiple effects to create new compositions
  • Adapt effects for different aspect ratios and resolutions
  • Create templates and presets based on purchased effects

Distribution Rights

  • Include rendered videos containing effects in any distribution channel
  • Share final video projects that incorporate the effects
  • Use in social media content, YouTube videos, and online platforms
  • Include in portfolio and demo reels

Usage Restrictions

Prohibited Uses

  • Redistribution: Cannot resell, sublicense, or distribute the original effect files
  • Sharing: Cannot share download links or effect files with others
  • Competing Platforms: Cannot upload effects to other marketplaces or template sites
  • Reverse Engineering: Cannot attempt to extract or recreate the original source code
  • Trademark Infringement: Cannot use BiBiFx branding in derivative works

Content Restrictions

  • Cannot use effects in content that promotes hate speech or discrimination
  • Cannot use in pornographic or adult content (unless specifically marked as such)
  • Cannot use in illegal activities or content that violates laws
  • Cannot use in ways that could damage the reputation of original creators

Technical Limitations

  • License is tied to your BiBiFx account and cannot be transferred
  • Maximum of 5 installations per license (contact support for enterprise needs)
  • Effects must be used within Adobe After Effects (no porting to other software)
  • Cannot extract individual assets for use outside of After Effects

Attribution & Credits

Attribution Requirements

While not required, we encourage crediting original creators when possible:

  • Recommended: Include creator name in video credits or description
  • Optional: Link back to the effect's page on BiBiFx
  • Appreciated: Tag @BiBiFx in social media posts

Creator Rights

  • Original creators retain copyright ownership of their work
  • Creators may request removal of effects from the platform
  • BiBiFx facilitates licensing but does not claim ownership
  • Creators set their own pricing and licensing terms within our framework

Supporting Creators: Your purchases directly support the creative community. Consider leaving reviews and sharing your projects to help creators grow their audience.

License Enforcement & Violations

Monitoring & Detection

  • We use automated systems to detect unauthorized distribution
  • Community reporting helps identify license violations
  • Regular audits of major platforms and marketplaces
  • Digital fingerprinting technology for effect identification

Violation Consequences

  • Account suspension or termination
  • Legal action for commercial infringement
  • DMCA takedown requests to hosting platforms
  • Financial penalties as outlined in Terms of Service

If you discover unauthorized use of BiBiFx content:

  • Include URLs, screenshots, and effect identification
